A lot of my work is achieved much like an interior wall of a house. On a wood panel I sculpt plaster until I’m happy with it. Collage is next and where the allegories take shape. When I’ve said enough, for myself, I end by painting the images that evolved in my head as I simply worked. My work is complex, yielding multiple layers that I feel could mirror all of us. I never know where I’m going with these...I just start.
